Attention all Pre-Nursing Students or students who plan to apply for the Nursing Program

Application deadlines for next year will be November 1, 2011 for Mobility (LPN and Paramedic) Tracks and February 1, 2012 for the Traditional Track.
NOTE NEW ADMISSION REQUIREMENT…A Elsevier A2 Pre-Admission Nursing Exam that will include Reading Comprehension, Math, Vocabulary and General Knowledge will be required prior to the application deadline. Scores from these categories will be applied to the selection criteria for admission. Exam times will be scheduled on the Century campus from August-January. Sign up early; do not delay in registering for a test date/time.

The Horticulture Department will be holding their annual PLANT SALE starting Monday, May 2 and will run on weekdays through Friday, May 13. The hours are from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm daily.
There is a good assortment of annual and perennial flower plants, herbs, vegetables, hanging baskets and patio tubs. All of the plants have been grown by the horticulture students as part of their training. The location is at the Horticulture Greenhouses on the east campus of Century College near the Mahtomedi water tower.
Come check it out. Hope to see you there!

Tuesday, May 3 is the annual CHALK THE WALK Contest.  This fun event has been part of the annual Wood Duck celebration for many years.  Trophies, medals, prizes  will be awarded for the top 20 winning  entries.
  All chalk and charcoal provided free.  Contest starts at 11 and goes until 2PM with judging following.  Winners will be announced at 3PM.

This is an all college event,  free to all students,  faculty and staff.  Chalk the Walk contest is located  on the sidewalks just South of the Student Union and the NEST areas.

  Come and help celebrate Spring and picnic time.   Sponsored by the Creative Arts Alliance.“

Flag Football on Tuesday and Thursdays at 2:00 pm.  Games are played on the athletic fields south of West Campus off the Wood Duck Trail.
